How to Submit a Site to MetaCrawler
One of the largest search engines is MetaCrawler. Unlike other popular engines such as Google, Yahoo and Bing, MetaCrawler does not rank websites through its own methodology. Instead, as the name suggests, it crawls other search engines simultaneously and delivers results on the basis of a site's ranking on each of those engines. The higher a website is ranked on an individual engine, the higher ranked it will be in MetaCrawler's results. By submitting sites to several search engines, the site is automatically added to MetaCrawler.
