How do I Clean a Room Rubber Mat?

Things You'll Need

• Feather duster
• Soft cloth
• 1 cup fabric softener
• Water
• Plastic buckets
• Mop

Instructions

1. Remove dust from the rubber mat with a feather duster or a soft cloth. Dust can build up and become unsightly on the rubber.

2. Mix 1 cup of fabric softener and 2 gallons of cool water in a plastic bucket.

3. Dip a mop into the water. Wring out the majority of the liquid until the mop is damp, not dripping wet.

4. Mop the rubber mat with the fabric softener and water mixture.

5. Pour 1 gallon of cool water into a plastic bucket.

6. Dip a mop into the cool water. Wring out the majority of the liquid until the mop is damp, not dripping wet.

7. Mop the floor with the cool water. This will remove the fabric softener mixture from the mat.

8. Allow the mat to dry completely before use.

Tips & Warnings

• Avoid flooding the mat with water. This could cause any adhesive that is used in conjunction with the mat to dissolve.
