      Remove the screws that are securing the dashboard to the frame of the vehicle, using the screwdriver. The screws are commonly located on the sides of the dash and on the inside of the glove box.

      Pull the passenger side of the dashboard away from the frame of the vehicle enough to expose the wiring that you will be connecting the radar detector to. Connect the radar detector to the wires on the vehicle behind the dash according to the manufacturer's installation instructions.

      Guide the radar detector up to the windshield and mount it to the windshield according to the manufacturer's mounting instructions. Replace the dashboard to its original position and tuck the radar detector wires behind the dash. Replace and tighten the screws on the dash.
