1
Cut lengths of the black and purple tulle netting into large spikes about 12 inches long, making sure the flat end is about 4 inches wide. Cut roughly 20 spikes in each color. Glue them around the bottom of the leotard with the point of the spikes facing down the leg so it builds a tutu-like skirt. Alternate the black and purple netting so the colors are even.
-
2
Cut eight smaller spikes out of the black netting and glue them to the sleeves of the leotard, so the spikes fall down onto the arms. Leave to dry.
-
3
Spray the leotard and the black fairy wings with glitter paint and leave to dry.
-
4
Cut the thin black ribbon into 6 inch lengths and glue them carefully down the front middle part of the leotard. Crisscross the ribbon as you glue it down so it looks like lacing. Stop gluing when you reach the start of the netting skirt.
-
5
Tie the thick purple ribbon around the bottom of the witches hat and finish it with a bow. Then glue the ribbon down so it stays.
-
6
Wear the leotard with black tights, black shoes, and lots of black and purple face paint to finish the look.
