How to Do Simple Makeup
Some women don't wear makeup because they think it is hard to apply, but by learning a few basic techniques they can create a flawless natural look in less than five minutes. Start by choosing products in colors that match your skin tone. Follow with easy applications of eye shadow, brow color, blush, lipstick and mascara to a create a simple daytime look. Things You'll Need
- Powdered eye shadow that matches your hair color
- Brow brush
- Light-colored eye shadow
- Medium-colored eye shadow
- 2 makeup brushes
- Powdered blush
- Lip color
- Neutral-color lip pencil
- Lip brush
- Black mascara

Choose a powdered eye shadow that matches the color of your hair. Brush the eye shadow onto your brows with a brow brush. Start at the inner brow corner of each brow and follow the brow line to the outer edge.

Choose a light and medium color of eye shadow that enhances the color of your eyes. Apply the light eye shadow to your eyelid from the lash line to the bottom of your eyebrow, using a makeup brush. Close your eye. Apply the medium color eye shadow to the crease of your eye, using a clean makeup brush. Repeat with the other eye.

Choose a color of powdered blush that matches your skin tone. Sweep a blush brush back and forth across the blush to set the blush into the brush. Apply the blush to your skin in a downward sweeping motion from the top front edge of your ear in a straight line to the inside edge of the apple of your cheek.

Choose a lip color that matches your skin tone. Use a neutral color lip pencil to outline the natural line of your lips. Apply the lip color to your lips using a lip brush dipped into the lip color. Blend the lip color into the neutral color, using the lip brush, so there are no visible lines.

Apply a thin layer of mascara on the upper eyelashes only to finish your look.

Tips & Warnings
If you have dark circles under your eyes use concealer that has a yellow undertone on the area under your eyes and on blemishes. For very dark circles choose a concealer with a pink undertone. Cover the concealer with a foundation that matches your skin tone and smooth out the edges so there are no visible lines.
Always check for allergic reactions by applying a small amount of the product on your wrist and leave it on overnight when using a product you've never used before. If you experience an adverse reaction, discontinue use of the product.
