How to Download BitLord

With Bitlord, users can share data over the Internet.

BitTorrent is a system that allows users to transfer data from one person to another. Films, games and pictures are all types of files that you can download using BitTorrent programs. Rather than download a particular file directly from another user, you must find a website that provides access to files. After selecting one, pieces of the data are then transferred to you from other users through a BitTorrent program. BitLord is one such program and can be found online easily.

Instructions

1. Navigate to BitLord's official website (see the link in the Reference section below).

2. Click on the download tab at the top of the page. On the next page, check the specifications below the download links to ensure that your computer can support the program.

3. Download BitLord by clicking on the top icon in the middle of the page. Version 1.1 is the basic program recommended for most users (as of August 2010). To try a faster, more powerful version of the program, you can download BitLord Pro.

4. Choose a save destination on your computer. Ensure that there is enough available space, then click on the "Save" tab to download the program.

5. Select the highlighted text labeled "Download BitLord 0.56" if you have trouble with the basic program.

Tips & Warnings

• The current, standard version of BitLord is 1.1, but program iterations tend to change quickly.

• A beta, or test version of a newer BitLord program became available in the summer of 2010.

• Although using BitLord and other BitTorrent programs is legal, some of the files or programs available for download are not. Ensure that you have the right to download anything you choose to access.
