How to Tie French Braids
Wearing French braids will give you an elegant hairstyle while keeping your strands neatly organized, but if the ends of the braids are untied, they will unravel. Save your hard work and keep this classic look in place by finishing the braids properly. Hair accessories and plain ties will secure your hair nicely and keep your look fresh all day or night. Whether dressing up hair for a holiday dinner or wanting a carefree, youthful style for a day out, orderly tied French braids will keep your mind on fun, not your hair. Does this Spark an idea?
Instructions

1
Spray the ends of your French braids with hair spray or styling gel. This will keep loose strands from unraveling.
-
2
Stretch the elastic over your right index, middle fingers and your thumb. Make a 2-inch wide space with the elastic.
-
-
3
Take the end of your braid in your left hand. Slide the band over the end of the hair about 1 inch from the bottom.
-
4
Pull the elastic to the left and turn it. Grab the band with your other hand.
-
5
Flip the end of the hair underneath the braid. Turn the elastic band again until you have no more slack left in the band.
-
6
Open the barrette and position the barrette over the ends of the braids. Click the barrette in place by pressing the two pieces together.
