Get your parents' permission and support before you pursue a career as a teen model. Anyone under the age of 18 will need parental consent before getting started.

Put together a modeling portfolio, which serves as your resume. Find a reputable photographer to provide your head shots and a variety of photos to show different emotions, poses and looks. If you have previous modeling experience, include tear sheets in you portfolio. Also get yourself seen, by offering to model for local photographers in exchange for photographs.

Be sure to check guidelines for submitting pictures, as they vary from one agency to another.
