ActiveX controls allow users to customize browser programs, view specific files and watch various animations. ActiveX is a primary feature of Microsoft's Internet Explorer browser. Oftentimes, ActiveX issues result from registry problems, so modifying the registry is the primary route to resolving ActiveX errors. Using a registry tool to repair ActiveX is the safest approach, considering how risky it is to edit the registry.
