How to Make Google.com Your Homepage
Google is the most popular Web site in the world, so it only makes sense that you would want to make it your home page. Having Google set as your home page will allow you to quickly search for a topic when you open your web browser without the hassle of actually typing in the address.

Click on the "Tools" menu and choose "Internet Options".

Click on the "General" tab and find the section for home page. Type or copy and paste http://www.google.com into that section.

Click "OK" to save.
Mozilla Firefox

Open http://www.google.com.

Click the icon at the left of the web address.

Drag the icon to the Home button and release it.

Click "Yes" to accept Google as your new home page.
Google Chrome

Click on the wrench icon and choose "Options".

Look for the Basics tab and find the section for home page. Click the button next to "Open this page" and type, or copy and paste, http://www.google.com into that section.

Opera
