      Restart your wireless G router by unplugging it from the power source and then re-plugging it. Sometimes, a simple restart can troubleshoot errors with your Belkin F5D7230-4 device.

      Update router firmware. Open your Web browser and type without the quotes "http://192.168.2.1" in the address bar. Hit "Enter." Click "Firmware update" on the left menu. Click "Browse" to choose a secured location to download the update file. Browse to that location and double-click the file. Select "Update" once a new dialog box pops up. Click "OK" to continue the update. Wait for 60 seconds before you router restarts.

      Navigate back to the webpage you opened in the previous step (http://192.168.2.1). Leave the password blank and hit "Submit." Next, click "Channel and SSID" on the left side located just below "Wireless." Change wireless channel from "Auto" to "Static." Click "Apply Changes." Hit the "Logout" button. If these doesn't solve the problem, go to the next step.

      Click the "Start" menu and select "Control Panel." Click to switch to "Classic View." Double-click on "Internet Options." Click the tab labelled "Program." Click "Reset Web Settings." Re-launch your web browser.
