  1. Save the Schedule Template

      Open Microsoft Word. Before you are able to insert a schedule in PowerPoint, you must download and save the desired template in Word.

      Click on "Schedules" under "Microsoft Office Online" from the "Templates" menu, and select your desired schedule.

      Click "I accept" and then click "Download." The template should appear as a new document.

      Save the template. Click "Save As" and select "Word Template" under "Save as Type."

      Click on "Save." You are now able to insert the schedule into PowerPoint.

      Open PowerPoint, and click on "Insert" to add your new template to your presentation.

      Click on "Object" from the "Insert" menu.

      Select "Create from file," and click on "Browse" to find the template.

      Browse to where you saved the template, select your file and click on "OK." The schedule now appears on your PowerPoint presentation slide. Now you can edit the schedule by clicking on it.
