How to Reset the IP With DSL
If your network or Internet connection is faulty or not working, one way to fix the connection is to reset your computer's IP address. This causes the computer to check for an open, working IP address with your router or DSL modem, and use it when communicating with the router or modem. The quickest way to do this is to use the "command prompt" to enter text commands.
