1
Select two 24-inch by 30-inch sections of wood and one 24-inch by 35-inch section of plywood, and apply a thin bead of wood glue to both 24-inch inner edges of the 35-inch by 24-inch plywood sections. Press one 24-inch by 30-inch section to each location. This will create a U-shape cabinet base consisting of the back and both sides of the cabinet. Drive one nail every 6 inches along the glued edges.

2
Set the structure on a flat surface so it is standing 30 inches high and glue around the bottom interior edges along all three sections of wood. Place the 23 ½-inch by 35-inch section of plywood directly into this location. This section will act as the bottom of the floor cabinet. Nail the wood in place by driving one nail every 6 inches along the bottom exterior perimeter of the cabinet.

3
Line one 3-inch and one 26-inch edge of both 3-inch by 26-inch wood sections with wood glue. Press one into each front corner. These sections will be used to support the doors for the cabinet. Drive one nail every 6 inches along the outer edge of each section.

4
Measure the space between the two 3-inch by 26-inch sections, and mark the center location. Apply wood glue to the 3-inch edge of the remaining 3-inch by 26-inch section, and place this section at the marked location. Drive two nails through the bottom of the cabinet up into the center wood.

5
Apply wood glue on the top 3-inch edge of all three 3-inch by 26-inch sections. Line the top 4-inch edge of each side of the cabinet, and insert the 4-inch by 35-inch section directly into this location. This will aid in supporting the counter-top while providing a top cover for the cabinet doors. Drive two nails through each end of the 4-inch section to bond the wood section to the cabinet sides.
-
6
Measure up 5 ¾ inches from the cabinet base along the 3-inch by 26-inch sections mounted on the interior sides of the cabinet. Attach a bottom hinge at each location. Install the top hinge at the location where it falls.
