Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- 12 Tiny Green Butterfly Hair Clips
- Dark Green Masks
- RIT Dyes
- Flower Shears
- Gardening Gloves
- Heavy-duty Dark Green Threads
- Sprigs Of Rosebuds
- Superglue
- Lipstick
- 1 6-foot rose flower garlands
Step1
Purchase a 6-foot flower garland made of roses.
Step2
Dress your child in a sweater, and then loosely wrap the end of the garland around the neckline of the sweater. Make sure the garland is wide enough to allow the sweater to be pulled over her head. Cut the garland at that point so that the two ends meet at the back of her neck.
Step3
Wrap the garland around each wrist and repeat the same measuring and cutting process.
Step4
Remove the sweater, and sew the garland strands around the neck and each wrist. A tight stitch every few inches will hold it in place while still allowing for some movement.
Step5
Cut all the roses from the remaining section of the garland, making sure to leave an inch of the stem, and put them aside.
Step6
Clip the rosebuds from the smaller sprigs and then superglue a rosebud to the tip of each finger on each glove. Make sure the glue dries completely before your child puts the gloves on. Dress your child in her green clothes, easing the sweater on last.
Step7
Decorate her hair using the leftover roses and butterfly clips. Arrange the clips around her head, and then slide the stem of each rose into the clip right before it closes.
Step8
Apply matching lipstick to her lips.

on 11/22/2005 You could take a piece of picket fence and carry the roses (if you have more than one rose bush in your garden) around together. This is a great way to display your perfect flower garden!

on 11/22/2005 You could get the glow sticks (the kind they make for rings and the mouth) and sew or glue them on the leaves to look like "lighting bugs." This would keep little rosies safe while trick or treating in the dark!

on 11/22/2005 Use a rose swag for a headpiece. Circle it around the wearer's head to get the most comfortable fit. Secure with an elastic band securely wrapped around the ends (be sure to pull off any extra greenery that gets in the way.)

on 11/22/2005 Adding a craft store bumblebee would be a cute addition to her hair; and perhaps a butterfly to the shoulder?
