How to Make a Dice Cube
Making your own dice cubes out of paper is simple. It is an easy project for beginners in paper-crafting. A die is a basic cube with numbered sides. Dice can be used for games and can be personalized. Make sure when you create your own dice the edges are straight. This will help them roll properly and look symmetrical.

Find a basic die template online. Print it out and then trace it onto card stock paper. Use a ruler to ensure straight edges. Cut out the die pattern with scissors. This should look like a cross when cut out. Make sure to cut out a little extra flap on all the ends.

Write numbers or dots from one through six on all of the sides before folding. Bend all of the marked lines into right angles going toward the middle. Make sure all the bends are even so your cube does not end up lopsided.

Bring the two longer ends together, shaping it into a square. Use glue or tape on the end flaps to seal them together. Let it dry completely. Take the two sides of your dice cube and bring them up one at a time. Glue the flaps to the inside and seal the sides. Let the cube dry completely before playing with it.

Tips & Warnings
Card stock is thicker than regular paper and using card stock will help your cube hold up better.
Use glitter or sequins to make the numbered dots on the sides for extra dazzle. Use any color of card stock paper to create your dice cubes. Customize it any way you like.
Make sure the glue is completely dry before rolling the dice or they could come apart.
