How to Clean a Laptop Cover
Laptop computers are portable and travel nearly everywhere a user might go. During a laptop's travels it may come in contact with dust, dirt, sticky items and bacteria. Keeping your laptop case clean is easy to do with household products. Also, keeping your laptop case clean may help to keep your computer looking like new.

Turn off the laptop, unplug the power supply and close the laptop's lid.

Mix a mild dishwashing liquid with water by adding five parts water and one part dishwashing liquid in to a bowl.

Moisten the sponge with the mixture of water and dishwashing liquid by placing the sponge into the bowl.

Wring the sponge out to remove excess moisture. You do not want the sponge to drip water in to the laptop because it may damage the computer.

Lightly wipe the sponge over the laptop's cover. Do not use the sponge under the cover as it may damage the computer.

Wipe off the laptop's cover with a soft lint-free cloth to remove any excess moisture.

Tips & Warnings
A baby wipe or moist towelette may be used as an alternative to the sponge and mild dishwashing liquid.
Dry up any excess water around your laptop right away to prevent damage on your computer.
