How to Make Logitech Attack 3 Work With Mame

The MAME team developed MAME (Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator) in 1997 to prevent vintage arcade games from being forgotten or lost and preserving video game history by allowing users to play their favorite arcade games on their computers. MAME is a versatile emulator, which enables users to add gamepads, trackballs, external gaming keyboards, joysticks and other gaming peripherals for extended gameplay. The Logitech Attack 3 is an outstanding, durable and user-friendly joystick that you can configure to play with MAME.

Instructions

1. Launch the MAME arcade emulator.

2. Click Options > Default Game Options and click the "Controllers" tab.

3. Check the "Enable Joystick Input" box and click "OK."

4. Start a game in MAME and press the "Tab" button. A menu appears on screen and has various options.

5. Press "Input (This Game)" to configure your Logitech Attack 3 joystick. MAME has a default configuration for the joystick, but you can input your own configuration.

6. Press the "Tab" button twice to return to the game. Your Logitech Attack 3 will work with the MAME arcade emulator.
