How to Join the Sims 2 Garden Club

Join the Garden Club in the "The Sims 2: Seasons" to save on gardening items, win prizes and gain a wishing well. In addition to the benefits of the Garden Club, gardening in general provides the Sims with food. Remember, you can only garden during warm weather. If you wish to garden year round, build a green house.

      Click on a house in the neighborhood menu.

      Select the build icon on the lower left-hand menu.

      Choose the Garden Center. Locate the square patches of dirt in the menu. Build a garden of any size.

      Go back to the play menu. Click on the Sim's portrait you want in the Garden Club. Click on plots of dirt and choose a plant to grow. The Sim plants the seed.

      Water, spray and weed the plant daily. These options appear when you click on the plant. Harvest when ready. Repeat gardening until you gain gardening skills.

      Go through the buy menu and purchase hedges, trees, benches and other garden decor. Choose more expensive decorations. Place them around the garden to make it look nice. Keep the garden clean of bugs and trash.

      Once you have a silver or gold gardening talent badge, which you can view in your skills menu, go to the phone and call the Garden Club.

      Talk to the representative from the Garden Club that comes to your house. They will examine your garden and tell you if you are in the club. If you fail the evaluation, the representative will tell you what to improve on and you can try again later that day.
