Instead of chips, Baker's chocolate comes in 1 ounce squares. They are available in a variety of chocolate types, including, semi-sweet, unsweetened, bittersweet, German's sweet and white. It is possible to replace Baker's Chocolate with chocolate chips, providing you select the similar type chocolate.
