How to Clean a SunVision Tanning Bed
If you've decided that you'd like to use a home tanning bed, such as a SunVision tanning bed, then you need to know how to clean and maintain it properly. SunVision tanning beds also are found in tanning salons, and if you're an employee, you'll need to learn how to clean the beds between uses. Without the proper care, tanning lotion and dust can build up on your SunVision tanning bed and alter its effectiveness. But with regular cleaning using the recommended products, you can keep your tanning bed sanitary while also increasing its longevity.

Use a nonabrasive disinfectant cleaner and soft cloth to wipe down your SunVision tanning bed each time it's used. The cleaner you use should not contain any ammonia or ammonia derivatives.

Spray the nonabrasive disinfectant cleaner directly onto the acrylic shield of your SunVision tanning bed after each use. Wipe away the cleaner gently with a clean, soft cloth.

Clean the inside of the bench and canopy when you notice a dust buildup. Start by carefully removing the lamps and acrylic shields.

Wipe away dust and any buildup of debris from each lamp using a soft cloth.

Spray a non-ammonia disinfectant cleaner directly onto both sides of the acrylic shields and clean with your cloth.

Dampen a clean cloth and use it to clean the reflectors of your SunVision tanning bed.

Replace the lamps and acrylic shields once they are completely dry.
