How to Port Forward in a Siemens 4200 DSL Modem
Firewalls are a type of security measure that protect your computer from attacks over your network by blocking all traffic that has not been specifically allowed through it. Port forwarding is how you configure a firewall to allow specific types of network traffic through the firewall unrestricted. If you have a firewall set up on your Siemens 4200 DSL modem, you need to configure the firewall manually to allow newly installed programs access to your Internet connection.
