How to Reset the Lock Code for the Samsung Blast

The Samsung Blast cell phone is not quite as advanced as some of the smartphones you find on the market thanks to the fact that it does not include full Web browsing capabilities. However, it does include a number of features that consumers might find useful, including MP3-playing capability, a QWERTY keyboard and a 1.3-megapixel camera. You can set a lock code on the device to keep others from using it without authorization. You also can reset the lock code if you feel the need to do so.

Instructions

1. Press the "Menu" key on the phone's front panel and choose "Settings." Press "OK."

2. Select "Phone Settings" and press "OK."

3. Choose "Change Password" and press "OK."

4. Type the current password. Press "OK."

5. Type the desired new password. Click "OK."

6. Type the password once more. Choose "OK." You have now reset the lock code.
