How to Save a Print Screen on Warcraft III

Warcraft III is a real-time strategy game with elements of role playing that was released by Blizzard Entertainment in 2002. The storyline of the game provides much of the history for World of Warcraft, one of the most popular online multi-player games in the world. The game has graphics comparable to modern cartoons with vibrant color depth and detailed images. Sometimes players might want to capture the vivid imagery on their screen of their epic battles and glorious victories.

Things You'll Need

• Computer with Warcraft III installed
• Any image editing software

Instructions

1. Launch Warcraft III and play the game until you get to a point that you want to capture as a screen print.

2. Hold down the "shift" key and press the "Print Screen" key. The "Print Screen" key is on the top row, third key from the far right on most PC keyboards. The message "screen captured" will appear in the middle of the screen letting you know your screen shot has been saved to the clipboard.

3. Pause the game. If you are not in a position to pause the game, the clipboard will store your screen shot until you shutdown your computer or take another screen shot. Press the Windows key when ready to open the Start Menu and launch your image editing software.

4. Open a new image file and paste your screen capture from the clipboard, using the method supported by your image editing software.

5. Save the image to the location of your choosing, using any file format supported by your image editing software.
