How to Burn a MPEG to Play in a DVD Player
The Windows 7 operating system includes the DVD Maker utility to aide users in burning their files to a DVD that is compatible with a standard DVD player. The utility will automatically convert the files to a format that can be read by a DVD player during the burn process. Burn your MPEG files with the DVD Maker to play them on your DVD player.

Click "Start" and choose "All Programs." Click on the "DVD Maker" option in the list.

Click "Choose Photos and Video" to open the "Add pictures and video to the DVD" page.

Click "Add Items" and select the MPEG files you want to burn in the dialog box that appears. Click "Add" to copy the the files to the DVD Maker interface.

Click the "Burn" button to begin copying the files to the disc. The drive will eject the disc once the burn is finished.
