Play a mini-CD on your desktop computer system.

A mini-CD is a small version of the popular compact disc. It holds roughly a third of the data and, due to its smaller size, is easier to transport. However, due to its smaller size it does not fit in all CD/DVD drives. You must have a drive that has an actual tray you place the disc in. If the drive is just an open slot (such as a car stereo or MacBook computer) you are unable to use the mini-CD in the drive.

Instructions

    • 1

Eject the CD-ROM tray on your computer system. When it opens there is a smaller indention in the middle of the tray.

    • 2

Place the mini-CD into the open tray and close the CD-ROM drive. Wait a moment and the autoload AutoPlay window appears on the screen.

    • 3

Select the program you want to use with the mini-CD and click "OK." This loads the program (such as Windows Media Player or iTunes) onto the screen.

    • 4

Select the file you wand to play and click "Play." The file now begins to play on the screen.
