How to Set Up a Wireless Router With WildBlue Satellite Service

WildBlue supports the use of wireless routers.

Just like any other Internet service provider (ISP), WildBlue supports the use of wireless routers to create a wireless connection in your home. To do this, you simply need a wireless router and a spare Ethernet cable.

Things You'll Need

• Two Ethernet cables

Instructions

1. Disconnect your modem from the power.

2. Connect one Ethernet cable from the "Internet out" port on the back of your modem to the "Internet in" port of your wireless router.

3. Connect a different Ethernet cable from one of the available ports on the back of your wireless router to a computer.

4. Connect your modem and wireless router to power via available wall outlets.
