Connect your HTC Touch to your PC via the USB cable.

    • 14

Save the edited audio file on your HTC Touch in the "My Ringtones" folder. It can be found in the "My Documents" folder on your HTC Touch.

    • 15

Use either of the above methods to set your custom ringtones or assign them to individual contacts.

Tips & Warnings

  • The ideal file size for custom ringtones is about 600kb. This way, the files don't occupy much space, are short and concise, and should load and run quickly.

  • If you need to edit a format other than WAV, you'll need a third-party audio editing program. Audacity is free to download and capable of editing many different formats, including several of those listed.
