How to Call Argentina With a Mobile
When using a cell phone, it is possible to call anywhere in the world, including the South American country of Argentina. Although you need to perform a few tasks before connecting to the country, dialing the actual Argentinian number from your cell phone is exactly the same as calling the country from a local landline. Do note, though, that some cell phone companies are going to charge you a hefty international fee when you call anywhere outside of the United States.

1
Contact your wireless provider. Let them know you intend to use your cell phone for international calling. Although this usually isn't a problem, some companies do prohibit international calling before you first notify the company (similar to the need to notify your bank when traveling with a credit card).

2
Dial "011" on the cell phone. This is the international exit code required for all calls out of the United States and Canada.
-
-
3
Press "54." The is the country code for Argentina.
-
4
Dial the area code for the city in Argentina you are calling. Then, dial the remainder of the phone number to be connected.
