How to Upload Internet Explorer 7
Internet Explorer users can enjoy an array of features in version 7. With Internet Explorer 7, you can customize the toolbar, manage your favorites, use quick tabs, adjust and personalize your browser's settings, as well as access a support site for any troubleshooting needs. Although a newer Internet Explorer version has already been released, if for any reason you wish to use utilize IE7, you can upload this version to your computer.

Visit the Microsoft Web page that features the Internet Explorer 7 download option. Look for the highlighted box in the center of the Web page, which says "Get Internet Explorer 7" in orange letters.

Click on the drop-down menu displayed with a text that says, "Select your operating system," and select the operating system you are using by clicking on its corresponding option.

Click the "Go" tab displayed below the drop-down menu and you will be redirected to the IE7 download site. In some cases, you may be sent to the Microsoft Search page instead. If this happens, access the Internet Explorer 7 download Web page directly by accessing the second link in the Resources section. Be advised that Internet Explorer 7 only works with Windows operating systems released prior to Windows Vista and Windows 7, so if you are using Vista or 7, you will need Internet Explorer 8.

Click on the "Download" tab displayed on the highlighted box in the upper left side of the page and click on the "Save File" tab, which will be displayed in the pop-up box titled "Opening IE7-Windows(your operating system).exe." If you have to access the Internet Explorer 7 download Web page directly through the Resources section and you have a Windows version that is older than Windows XP, scroll down the page and select the Windows operating system you are using, which will be displayed below the titles "What Others Are Downloading" or "Related Downloads."

Follow the prompts on the installation wizard and once you select the options you want, Internet Explorer will finish being uploaded to your operating system.

Tips & Warnings
Consider uploading Internet Explorer 8 to your operating system as it is the newest and most up-to-date IE version, as of September 2010.
