How to Update an OnStar Listing

OnStar provides vehicle owners with an assortment of services including contacting police if needed, roadside assistance, navigation and a vehicle diagnostics report. To maintain this service, a monthly or yearly fee is required. If OnStar has outdated information, your subscription may not be renewed. OnStar offers several methods for you to conveniently update your listing information.

Instructions

1. Go to OnStar's main Web page. Click on "My Account" on the top left and select "Renew/Manage Account."

2. Enter your user name and password if you have one. If not, create your user name and password from this page by entering your account number and zip code and follow the prompts from there to update your account listing information.

3. Go to the section of your account that you need to change. Once you have entered your account management page, you can update your address, phone number and payment information.

4. Call OnStar directly at 1-888-466-7827 or push the blue button in your car with the OnStar symbol if you cannot gain access to your account online. This allows you to speak with a representative who can update your listing information for you.
