How to Customize a Laptop Cover

A customized laptop cover adds color to the dull look on your laptop.

You can create your own customized laptop cover design and print it on a durable, self-adhesive vinyl sheet to make a personalized statement and give your laptop a unique new appearance.

Things You'll Need

• Inkjet photo printer
• Adhesive vinyl sticker
• Rotary cutter

Instructions

1. Come up with a personalized design for your laptop cover. Common designs include favorite pets, animals, landscapes and abstract images.

2. Print the design on a vinyl sheet using A3 Inkjet Photo Printer

3. Wipe your laptop lid with a dump cloth to remove dust and dirt. Dirt and dust cause unsightly bubbles to appear on the laptop cover. Allow the laptop to dry.

4. Measure the size of your laptop lid. Cut the vinyl sheet to appropriate size by subtracting about half an inch of the width and length of your laptop's lid. Use a rotary cutter to get perfect edges.

5. Peel the back sheet from the vinyl that has your customized laptop cover design.

6. Stick the new cover design on the laptop. Place the sheet on the bottom edge of the laptop lid and press gently, working your way up to the top of the laptop lid.

7. Smooth out the customized laptop cover. Apply gentle pressure on the laptop cover by running your hand against the cover to remove air bubbles.
