How to Reset a Jabra for Another Phone
A Jabra Bluetooth headset turns your mobile phone into a hands-free device. This is convenient and, while driving, required by law in some states. Once you've used the Jabra headset with one phone or device, it has to be reset before it can be paired with a different phone. This is a fast and easy solution to switching the headset between devices without having to buy an additional headset.

1
Delete pairing on your mobile phone. From the phone's menu, access the settings and then the menu for Bluetooth devices. The headset will show as Jabra in the menu. Select and delete the headset from this menu.
-
2
Reset the headset. Attach the Jabra headset's power cord and plug it into an outlet. Allow the headset to charge until the LED light on the side glows a steady blue. It should no longer be blinking.

3
Turn off the headset. Unplug the headset and push and hold the blue-lighted button until the device shuts down. The light will blink rapidly for a moment before the light goes out.
-
4
Reset both the previously used phone and the new phone or device. Remove the battery and the SIM card from the phones and then replace them. The phone that was using the headset before will now be ready for a new Bluetooth device and the new phone is ready to pair with the Jabra headset.
-
5
Pair the Jabra headset with the new phone or device. Turn the new phone on and go to the Bluetooth menu to assure that Bluetooth is turned on. Turn the Jabra headset on and wait for it to appear in the phone's Bluetooth menu. Accept the headset when the phone prompts you.

Tips & Warnings
Always turn off the Jabra Bluetooth headset when not in use. The headset has its own power cord, but leaving it on all the time drains the power quickly.
You can answer your mobile phone right from the headset by pressing the button on the side when your phone rings.
To change the volume of the headset, use the control buttons on the side of the headset to increase or decrease the sound.
Using your mobile phone without a hands-free device while driving is dangerous and can lead to accidents. It is also illegal to do so in eight states and texting while driving is banned in 30 states, as of September 2010.
