How do I Donate a Car in Long Island, NY?
In the greater New York area, which includes Long Island, a number of charitable organizations stand ready to accept your donated car. In fact, most of these institutions will come to your house, pick up your car for free and provide a receipt which you can use for tax purposes. To speed up the process, have your title ready and, if your car is not in running condition, make special arrangements with the charitable institutions so they can come equipped to tow it.
