Remove the bandage carefully twice a day and soak your foot. Use warm water for the bath and make sure your toe gets clean while it is soaking.

Use you finger to gently rub away any dirt or lint that may be on your toe while it is soaking.

Take your foot out of the bath and let it dry completely. You can use a soft towel to gently pat the water away from your foot and expedite the drying.

Apply antibiotic lotion to the toe with your finger. This will help the toe heal and keep infections at bay.
