How to Conference Call on the Blackberry Storm

Conference calling is an option available on the Blackberry Storm.

A Blackberry smart phone has a number of functions, such as sending or receiving emails and browsing the Internet. Blackberry phones are also capable of setting up a conference call, or having a conversation with more than one person on the same line. This is an easy feature to learn how to use on your Blackberry Storm.

Instructions

1. Type a phone number or select a contact that is programmed into your phone, then press the "Send" key.

2. Press the "Menu" key when the caller answers.

3. Choose "Add Participant."

4. Type in the second phone number or choose a contact that you would like to have join the conference call.

5. Press the "Send" key.

6. Press the "Send" key again after the second caller answers the call. This will join the second contact to the first call, creating a conference call.

Tips & Warnings

• If you would like to create a conference with more than two callers, repeat steps 2-6 until you have reached your desired number of participants.

• If your service provider for your Blackberry operates on a CDMA network, such as Verizon or Sprint, you cannot create a conference call.
