Instructions

    • 1

Blanket stitch down the edge of the project, keeping your stitches evenly spaced, until you are the same distance from the corner of the blanket as the space between stitches.

    • 2

Insert the needle into the project where you made the last stitch as if you were making the same stitch twice.

    • 3

Push the needle through the project before bringing it through the loop of thread created.

    • 4

Pull the thread tight diagonally toward the corner.

    • 5

Insert the needle through the project for the third time through the same location as the last two stitches.

    • 6

Pull the needle through the project, pull it through the loop of thread create, and pull the thread tight straight out 90 degrees from the first stitch of the corner and 45 degrees from the second. You now have a vertical stitch, horizontal stitch and a stitch at a 45 degrees between the two, all located in the corner.
