Navigate to Microsoft's website and search for "Windows XP Service Pack 2 Network Installation Package for IT Professionals and Developers."

Click "Download."

Save the file to an easily accessible download location.

Double click the download to start the installation. Click "Next." Choose the radio button marked "I Agree." Click "Next" twice and click "Finish." Your computer will restart and Service Pack 2 will be completely installed.
