Edit your digital images online using Photobucket.

Photobucket is a photo storage website that allows its members to share and store digital images and videos. After members upload their digital images to their Photobucket account, they can use Photobucket to create digital photo albums and slide shows, and to display images on blogs, websites and social network sites. It's not necessary to edit the images prior to uploading them to Photobucket, as the website has extensive online editing tools.

Instructions

      Log into your Photobucket account by entering your username and password.

      Locate the photo you wish to edit.

      Click on the "Edit" link located above the picture you wish to edit. A new screen will open showing the photo to edit and the editing tools.

      Click on the "Basic" tab located on the horizontal toolbar at the top of the screen to view the basic editing tools.

      Select the desired "Basic" editing option by clicking on the tool icon. These include "Auto Fix" to adjust the color; "Fix Red Eye" to correct red eye; "Crop" to crop the image; "Resize" to resize the image; "Flip" to turn the image horizontally or vertically; "Adjust" to change the hue, saturation and lightness; "Contrast" to adjust the contrast and brightness; and "EZ Collage" to create a collage with your images.

      Click on the "Done" tab to close the editing tool.

      Select one of the tabs at the top of the screen for more extensive and creative editing. The toolbar categories include "Effects," "Decorate," "Animation," "Beautify," "Distort," "Layers," "Geek" and "Tinkerbell."

      Click on the desired individual tool icon that appears, after opening a specific toolbar category, to apply the edit to the image.

      Click on the "Save a copy" tab at the bottom of the page to save the edited image as a new digital image. To save over the original file click "Replace original," or click on "Cancel" to cancel the edit.
