Tips & Warnings

  • To burn even more calories, do simple things in your daily routine like taking the stairs instead of the elevator, parking in a spot that is farther away or walking your dog.
  • A well balanced vegan or vegetarian diet also can promote a healthy metabolism while losing weight. A healthy metabolism means you burn more calories faster. Vegetables also are harder to digest because of their fibrous tissues, so you burn more calories digesting them than are in the vegetable.
  • Always consult your doctor before starting an exercise or diet plan.
