How to Print Email Attachments

Printing email attachments is easy to do.

An email attachment is a file, photo or document that the sender has attached to an email you have received. If you get an email attachment, you can download it on your computer and save it forever. Or, you can print out the attachment so you can file it or show it to other people. Printing an attachment is as easy as printing a file.

Instructions

1. Double click on the name of the attachment to download it onto your computer. Click "Yes" if your computer asks you if you are sure you want to download the file.

2. Double click on the icon in your "download" box when it is finished downloading to open it. As long as you have software that can read the attachment, such as a composition program for documents or a photo program for photo attachments, the attachment will open onto your computer with that program.

3. Click on "File" or "Options" at the top of your screen in the program that the computer used to open up the email attachment. Choose "Print" from the list. Follow your usual instructions for sending an item to your printer and click "Print'" to print the attachment.
