Easily filter out offensive profanity on the television using TV Guardian.

If you are tired of all the profanity, violence and nudity displayed in most movies and some television shows, but don't want to stop watching all content on television, it is possible to simply filter out the content with TV Guardian. TV Guardian is a receiver box that removes any offensive language and other content, before it is produced on the television screen and speakers. Note that it only works with electronics offering the closed caption technology.

Things You'll Need

  • 2 sets of component cables
  • 2 sets of RC audio cables
  • Cable or satellite receiver
  • Televison

Instructions

    • 1

      Connect the first set of component cables into the "Component Out" ports on the cable or satellite receiver. Plug the opposite end of the cables into the "Component In" ports on the TV Guardian.

      Attach the first set of RCA audio cables into the "Audio Out" ports on the cable or satellite receiver, then insert the other end of the cables into the "Audio In" ports on the TV Guardian.

      Insert the second set of component cables into the "Component Out" ports on the TV Guardian. Plug the free end of the cables into the "Component In" ports on the television.

      Connect the second set of RCA audio cables into the "Audio Out" ports on the TV Guardian, then insert the other end of the cables into the "Audio In" port on the television.

      Power on the television, TV Guardian and the cable or satellite receiver. Press "Input," on the TV remote control, then select "Component" and the cable or satellite content, streamed through the TV Guardian, appears on the television.
