How to Unzip Protected Files
Windows native zip software and third-party zip utilities allow you to password protect zipped files and folders. Zip passwords protect the file by preventing the contents from being extracted before you enter in the correct password. After unlocking the zip file you can extract the files or access the content.

Navigate to the folder that the protected .zip file is located.

Double-click the zip file.

Enter the zip file's password when the password window appears. Click "OK".

Drag and drop files individually if you do not want to extract all files. Choose "Extract All Files" from the folder sidebar if you prefer to unzip all of the files at once. Click "Next". Browse to the location to unzip all files and click "Next". Click "Finish".

Tips & Warnings
Zip file passwords cannot be retrieved. Do not lose the password for the zip file or you won't be able to access it again.
