How to Delete Wireless Settings From a 360

The Xbox 360 gaming console is designed to be able to connect to an Internet source so you can play games online or download new content. If you acquire a wireless adapter, you can connect directly to a wireless network without having to use an Ethernet cable. If you want to temporarily or permanently prevent the Xbox 360 console from connecting to a wireless Internet connection, simply delete the wireless network settings.
Scroll to the "My Xbox" heading in the Xbox 360's main menu. Select the sub-menu labeled "System Settings."
Choose the "Network Settings" option and then select "Configure Network." Scroll over to "Basic Settings."
Choose "Wireless Settings." Select the "SSID" option. Press the controller's blue "X" button to delete the SSID.
Press the controller's "Start" button or select the "Done" option. Scroll down to the bottom of the menu and choose "Done" to delete the wireless settings.
Tips
If you want to turn the wireless setting back on, navigate back to the "SSID" menu and type in the name of your wireless network. Select "Done." Scroll down to "Network Mode" and then choose "Infrastructure." Select "Done" again.
Warnings
The "Wireless Settings" menu will not appear if the wireless adapter is not connected to the Xbox 360.
