How to Connect an HD DVR to the Internet
An HD DVR connects directly to a satellite or cable receiver, allowing you to record programming at any time, day or night, in full high-definition. Many DVRs though, require some sort of an Internet connection. This allows the DVR to access channel programming and content airing in the future. The connection process is similar to hooking up a computer to an Internet connection and it does require some system adjustments.
