How to Reset a Password on Unix

Unix is a computer operating system, and like all operating systems has security features built in to protect the computer and the user's data. One such feature is the ability to enable password security in order to enter the system. Each Unix user account can have his own separate password. To achieve the maximum level of security, this password should be reset regularly. Unix has a standard command called "passwd," which simplifies the process to change passwords.
