How to Restore Windows XP DNS Settings

DNS (Domain Name System) settings translate the URL you see in your browser into the IP address of the website you want to reach. If these settings become corrupt through tweaking your system, a corrupt software installation or malware, your browser will not be able to open some or all websites you wish to visit. If this happens, return your browser to normal by returning your Windows registry to the default DNS settings.
