The Canon Powershot SD1100 IS produces a maximum pixel resolution of 3,264 x 2,448 and a maximum video pixel resolution of 640 x 480 at 60 frames per second. With all of the setup options available on the device, you may find it easier to perform a total system reset in order to operate the SD1100, using the factory default settings.

      Turn the device on and press the “Menu” button.

      Use the left or right directional “Arrow” buttons in order to highlight the “Tools” menu visible on the LCD screen.

      Scroll down and highlight the “Reset All” menu option. Press the “Func/Set” button and highlight the “OK” menu choice, using the right “Arrow” button.

      Hit the “Func/Set” button to confirm that you wish to reset the camera back to the factory default settings.
