Change document properties using the Document Information Panel in Word 2007.

All Microsoft Office 2007 files have document properties that help identify the document. These properties, also known as metadata, include the title of the document, author and keywords. Document properties are important because you can use the data to search for documents or organize them. View and modify the document properties for a Microsoft Word 2007 document using the "Document Information Panel."

Instructions

    • 1

Open an existing file in Microsoft Word 2007.

    • 2
