How to Remove Trend Micro Client Server Agent

The Trend Micro Client/Server Agent is a part of Trend Micro security software that protects home and business computers from viruses, trojans, keyloggers and other malicious files that may target your computer. Perform a removal of the Trend Micro agent if the program is causing errors on your system or if you are upgrading to a new version of the software. Use the built-in uninstaller in your Windows Control Panel to safely remove the software.

Instructions

1. Click "Start" and select the "Control Panel" listing. Double-click "Add or Remove Programs" if you are using XP. Click "Programs" and choose "Programs and Features" if you are using XP or Vista.

2. Click on the "Trend Micro Security" option in the list of programs and click the "Uninstall" or "Change / Remove" button to open the Uninstaller. Log in with an administrator account if prompted by your computer.

3. Click "Next" in the Uninstaller window and select the "Trend Micro Client/Server Agent." Click "Next" to begin removing the program from your computer. Click "Finish" in the completion message to close the Uninstaller window.

4. Restart your computer to save the changes to the settings and configuration of your computer.
